Why is there a difference in transaction dates?

From 27 May 2023, most NZ banks began 7-day payment processing. This means payments may be processed over weekends and public holidays.

However, Farm Focus adopts the final transaction posting date, which only occurs during business hours (Monday–Friday). This safeguard is imposed by the banks and may cause differences between the transaction date in your banking system and Farm Focus.

Important: Manual adjustments

If your end of the financial year falls on a weekend, you may need to make a manual adjustment to align the transaction dates.
