How to edit an existing farm code

Steps to Edit an Existing Farm Code

1. Select a Code to Edit

• Log into Farm Focus.

• Click on Settings.

• Select Codes, then click on Farm Codes.

• Use the downward arrows to expand the code list.

• Scroll to find the code you wish to edit.

• Hover over the code and click the three vertical dots.

• Click Edit to move to the edit code screen.

2. Edit the Selected Code

• Scenario: John wants to separate his diesel and petrol fuel transactions.

  1. In the edit code screen, John will change the existing extended code for farm fuel:

     • Change the code from FF to DI for diesel.

     • Change the name from Farm Fuel to Diesel.

  2. Click Done to save the changes.

3. What Happens Now?

1. John can now add a new farm code for petrol transactions.

2. When coding fuel-related transactions, John will have separate codes for diesel and petrol.

3. The edited code and the new farm code will appear in the Farm Codes list.
