How to edit or delete a code split rule

Steps to Complete

To Locate Your Code Split Rules:

1. Go to the Settings screen.

2. Click Codes.

3. Select Code split rules.

To Delete a Code Split Rule:

1. In the Code split rules screen, hover over the rule you want to delete.

2. Select the three vertical dots.

3. Click Delete.

To Edit a Code Split Rule:

NOTE: Before editing a code split rule, we strongly advise you to consult with your accountant about the portion of business GST you can claim on farmhouse expenses.

1. In the Code split rules screen, hover over the rule you want to edit.

2. Select the three vertical dots.

3. Click Edit.

   • TIP: You can also double-click the code split rule to go directly to the edit screen.

4. Click on the field you want to change. You can update the following:

   • The Code used for the split line.

   • The GST type.

   • The Description for your reference.

   • Tags for more detailed business analysis.

   • The percentage amount for the selected split line.

5. Once you’ve made the necessary changes, click Save.
