How to connect or disconnect a Crystal Payroll integration with Farm Focus

Steps to Complete

Connect with Crystal Payroll

• Log into Farm Focus and go to Settings > Connectors.

• Choose Crystal Payroll from the list of connectors.

• Click Connect to Crystal Payroll. This will redirect you to the Crystal Payroll login screen.

• Enter your Crystal Payroll login credentials.

• In Crystal Payroll, go to Company Settings in the left-hand menu and select Import/Export.

• In the top dropdown box, select Farm Focus and in the second dropdown, choose Invoice for Whole Company.

• Click Save. You will now be redirected back to Farm Focus to complete the authentication.

• In Farm Focus, select your farm business from the dropdown and click Allow Access.

• 

• You are now connected.

Setting up your General Ledger Codes

• Log into Crystal Payroll and go to Company Settings > Import/Export.

• Click Setup General Ledger Code to map your codes correctly for Farm Focus.

• Select the appropriate options for each category:

  • Gross Earnings

  • Inland Revenue Deductions

  • Take Home Pay

• For each category, click Setup GL Code for Items to select the codes for the detailed items. If you leave the item codes empty, they will default to the category code you selected.

• Click Save. Your payroll invoice will now be fully coded when it appears in Farm Focus.

Disconnect your Crystal Payroll integration

• In Farm Focus, go to the Connectors page, select Crystal Payroll, and click Disconnect Feed.

• Log into Crystal Payroll, and go to Report Center > Accounting Analysis > General Ledger Analysis.

• Click the information (i) icon and select Yes to reset the authentication for data export.

• You are now disconnected.

Troubleshooting

If you want to set up a new farm after disconnecting your previous farm, follow these steps:

1. Log into Crystal Payroll and go to Company Settings > Import/Export.

2. Revert the Accounting System dropdown box to the first option: Select an Accounting System.

3. You can now begin the process of connecting a new farm to Crystal Payroll.
