Which Browser Should I Use?

We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience. However, you can also use Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox. Ensure you have the latest version of your browser installed.

Recommended Hardware

To ensure smooth performance:

• Use a computer capable of running the latest version of its operating system (Windows or Mac).
• Recommended specifications:
  • Minimum 8GB of RAM
  • i5 or better CPU
• Performance depends on factors like internet connection, Wi-Fi setup, and computer speed.

Farm Focus also works on handheld devices running the latest operating systems.

TIP: Up-to-date hardware improves performance and enhances security.

Adjusting Zoom and Screen Settings

Adjusting Zoom

• For Safari: Refer to the Safari-specific instructions.
• For Chrome, Edge, and Firefox: Click the three dots (or three lines in Firefox) in the top-right corner. Select Zoom and adjust using +/-.

Adjusting Brightness and Contrast

• Mac Users: Adjust screen settings here.
• Windows Users: Adjust screen settings here.

Boosting Efficiency with Browser Tabs and Screens

Duplicate Browser Tabs

• Right-click your browser tab and select Duplicate. This allows you to open multiple areas of Farm Focus simultaneously, such as Actuals and Cashflow.

Use Two Screens or Devices

• Ideal setup:
  • One screen for emails and another for Farm Focus.
  • Open different areas of Farm Focus across two browsers.
  • Use a tablet or phone for the Help Centre to watch tutorials while you work.

Recommended Farm Code List

• When you purchase Farm Focus, you can select the most appropriate code list from a selection of Livestock, Horticulture, Cropping (or Broadacre and Plantation in Australia) templates.  These can be customisable for your needs.
• Existing users can benefit from a farm code health check by accessing the recommended code list via the 7-day demo.
