Why import bank transactions? Importing your bank transactions saves time and ensures accuracy by reducing manual data entry. Best practice: Use bank feeds TIP: We recommend setting up bank feeds for a seamless and automated experience.Currently, customers of BNZ, ANZ, ASB, Rabobank, and Westpac can sign up for bank feeds in Farm Focus (NZ customers only). Steps to import bank transactions 1. Download transactions from your bank Log in to your internet banking.Select the appropriate date range.Download your transaction file as a CSV or QIF file.NOTE: If you need help downloading your file, contact your bank. 2. Import transactions into Farm Focus Go to Actuals. Click the upload arrow at the top right of the screen. Select Bank transaction file from the dropdown list. Choose the bank account the transactions belong to. Click Browse and select your transaction file (usually in your Downloads folder). Click Import. Your bank transactions will now appear in Needs Action, listed by payment date. File type recommendations New Zealand customers:Use CSV for Heartland Bank.Use QIF for all other NZ bank accounts.
